The RCPC Foundation

From Happy Franklin, President-Elect of RCPC and President of the RCPC Foundation - 2020-21

The Rotary Club of Park Cities' Communities Fund was originally sponsored in the 1960’s by the Rotary Club of Park Cities (“RCPC”) for the purpose of providing an enduring legal entity through which members and friends of the Rotary Club of Park Cities might make donations for the good of mankind and the Dallas community. The fund continues to this day to consider internal and external grant requests submitted on the RCPC Foundation online grant portal found on the club website.

The grant requests approved at our August 2020 meetings include:

$15,000 - Bonton Clinic
(This grant request was previously approved to be set aside for the Bonton Clinic.
Funds were designated for the 2018-2019 ($17,000), 2019-2020 ($18,000), and 2020-2021 ($15,000) Rotary years.)
This year's contribution completes a grant of $50,000 to the Bonton Clinic Fund.

$5,000 - Agape Clinic to support their Triage and Mobile Medical Clinic

$1,050 - Ronald McDonald House to underwrite the meals provided for September, October and November

$7,500 - North Texas Food Bank as our Rotary Club of Park Cities' 4th of July Parade beneficiary
