By compassionately serving individual households through food equity research, innovation, and distribution partnerships, Crossroads is revolutionizing food pantry services and building nutrition-stable communities. Crossroads seeks to ensure that all people in Dallas County consistently access nutritious food through our in-house Community Market. Visit the Crossroads Community Pantry website to learn more.

Volunteer Oppurnities Availiable

Intake Service: Sit down one-on-one with a shopper and help them develop a shopping list based on their needs and budget before they enter the market.

Market Floor: Keep the shelves stocked as shoppers deplete products throughout the market day by restocking dry goods, fresh produce and freezer items.

Check Out: Help shoppers ensure they hit everything on their list and pack up their goods. Shoppers may need help bringing groceries out to their cars.

Shopping Assistant: Some shoppers may need help navigating the market and reading their grocery list. In order to make sure they don't miss essential goods, shoppers may request your help selecting items.

A critical blood shortage is affecting North Texas in early April 2026, with Carter BloodCare reporting that roughly 25% of donors are unavailable during the spring break season. This, following a severe winter storm in early 2026, has created urgent needs for all types, particularly Type O.

Donate blood and save lives! Look for the Carter Bloodcare Bus! Please share this info with your family, friends, neighbors, colleagues, etc!

About Rotary Club of Park Cities

RCPC is the largest club in Dallas with over 137 members who share a passion for “Service Above Self”.  We are committed to three strategic priorities of addressing hunger in our community, focusing on health & wellness with our collaborative partners along with leadership development.  We Serve to Make a Difference!

Rotary International is Resolved to Rid the World of Polio Forever

No challenge is too big for us.  Since Rotary embarked on this global initiative in 1985, we have educated and equipped communities to stop the spread of polio.  Thanks to Rotary Internationals efforts, wild poliovirus has been eradicated in all continents except Asia, and as of 2020, Afghanistan and Pakistan are the only two countries with the disease still classified as endemic.  We are committed to continue to fight this battle until the world is polio free.
