Come on out for a docent led tour at SMU Meadows Museum This Special Exhibit is by Dallas photographer Laura Wilson: Roaming Mexico Free parking is available underneath the Museum (bring your ticket for validation) $15 cash per person, collected at the door (no need to pre-purchase tickets) Come early to pay, tour will begin at 11.00a Please RSVP to let us know you are coming. About the Artist: Laura Wilson is an internationally acclaimed documentary photographer who has lived in Dallas since 1966 and is the mother of actors Andrew, Owen, and Luke Wilson. Her work spans more than four decades, focusing on ranchers, cowboys, and creative personalities throughout the American West and Texas. The Meadows Museum exhibit "Roaming Mexico" features nearly 90 photographs taken over the last forty years during Wilson’s travels through Mexico, capturing the diversity, grit, and humanity from borderlands to Oaxaca and San Miguel de Allende. A docent will guide the tour, with images that present a nuanced, personal view of Mexico’s festivals, farms, and everyday life.
