About the Artist:

Laura Wilson is an internationally acclaimed documentary photographer who has lived in Dallas since 1966 and is the mother of actors Andrew, Owen, and Luke Wilson. Her work spans more than four decades, focusing on ranchers, cowboys, and creative personalities throughout the American West and Texas.

The Meadows Museum exhibit "Roaming Mexico" features nearly 90 photographs taken over the last forty years during Wilson’s travels through Mexico, capturing the diversity, grit, and humanity from borderlands to Oaxaca and San Miguel de Allende. A docent will guide the tour, with images that present a nuanced, personal view of Mexico’s festivals, farms, and everyday life.

About Rotary Club of Park Cities

RCPC is the largest club in Dallas with over 137 members who share a passion for “Service Above Self”.  We are committed to three strategic priorities of addressing hunger in our community, focusing on health & wellness with our collaborative partners along with leadership development.  We Serve to Make a Difference!

Rotary International is Resolved to Rid the World of Polio Forever

No challenge is too big for us.  Since Rotary embarked on this global initiative in 1985, we have educated and equipped communities to stop the spread of polio.  Thanks to Rotary Internationals efforts, wild poliovirus has been eradicated in all continents except Asia, and as of 2020, Afghanistan and Pakistan are the only two countries with the disease still classified as endemic.  We are committed to continue to fight this battle until the world is polio free.
