Following a long-standing tradition, on the third Monday of every month volunteers from Park Cities Rotary make and serve dinner to the families staying at Ronald McDonald House. On the menu on February 16, was a complicated recipe for Swedish Meatballs and mashed potatoes for sixty people. The report was that the volunteers enjoy this project, as do the families being served. The verdict on the meatballs was “yummy.” This service project is organized by member Kathleen Klaviter. The RCPC Foundation also helps to fund the ingredients for the dish being prepared. The families staying at Ronald McDonald House are in Dallas to receive medical treatment for their children. They stay at “the House” at no charge.
