EREY: Every Rotarian Every Year contribute $100 or more to THE Rotary Foundation

The mission of The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International is to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty.
Rotary members believe that we have a shared responsibility to take action on our world’s most persistent issues. Our 35,000+ clubs work together to:
  • Promote peace
  • Fight disease
  • Provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene
  • Save mothers and children
  • Support education
  • Grow local economies
The Rotary Foundation, Rotary’s charitable arm, has to date awarded $20 million to support Rotary clubs worldwide in their immediate response to COVID-19 in their communities, and to long term recovery efforts.

To donate contact Greg Pape (gregpape@att.net)
or donate online at https://www.rotary.org/en/donate and email Greg Pape so he can give you club credit.

The RCPC Foundation

From Happy Franklin, President-Elect of RCPC and President of the RCPC Foundation - 2020-21

The Rotary Club of Park Cities' Communities Fund was originally sponsored in the 1960’s by the Rotary Club of Park Cities (“RCPC”) for the purpose of providing an enduring legal entity through which members and friends of the Rotary Club of Park Cities might make donations for the good of mankind and the Dallas community. The fund continues to this day to consider internal and external grant requests submitted on the RCPC Foundation online grant portal found on the club website.

The grant requests approved at our August 2020 meetings include:
$15,000 - Bonton Clinic
(This grant request was previously approved to be set aside for the Bonton Clinic.
Funds were designated for the 2018-2019 ($17,000), 2019-2020 ($18,000), and 2020-2021 ($15,000) Rotary years.)
This year's contribution completes a grant of $50,000 to the Bonton Clinic Fund.
$5,000 - Agape Clinic to support their Triage and Mobile Medical Clinic
$1,050 - Ronald McDonald House to underwrite the meals provided for September, October and November
$7,500 - North Texas Food Bank as our Rotary Club of Park Cities' 4th of July Parade beneficiary

The grant requests approved at our November 2020 meetings include:
$2,500 - Christo Rey High School for their school lunch program
$3,775 - Little Children of the World - Philippines to support their food budget for 6 months for 71 children in residential shelter.
$1,050 - Ronald McDonald House to underwrite the meals provided for January - March 2021
